New Orleans Hotels Enjoy Super Bowl Boost

NEW ORLEANS–With the San Francisco 49ers taking on the Baltimore Ravens in this weekend's Super Bowl, local hotels here are expecting to see higher occupancy and ADR.

According to data from Travel Click, committed occupancy for the Friday through Monday of Super Bowl XLVII weekend is up 51%, while ADR is up 127%, compared to the same weekend in 2012.

While hotels closest to downtown are experiencing the largest demand for bookings, hotels in the close-in suburbs are enjoying a spillover effect.
