PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL—The Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa apppointed Brett Smith as resort executive chef, responsible for all resort culinary operations, which include nine food and beverage outlets as well as in-room dining, catering and banqueting for special events.
Smith previously worked at the property as executive chef de cuisine in 2004. Following a short leave in 2011 to be executive chef with the Renaissance World Golf Village Resort, Convention Center and Beach Club, he returned to Sawgrass to accept the new position.
