SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA—Wyndham Hotel Group opened the 230-key Wyndham San José Herradura Hotel & Conference Center here, the second Wyndham Hotels and Resorts property to open in the country’s capital in the past month.
The addition follows the November debut of Wyndham Garden San José Escazú.
The new property also joins Tryp by Wyndham San José Sabana, which joined the company’s portfolio in November 2011.
The hotel, located near downtown San José, offers complimentary high-speed wireless internet access, a variety of on-site dining options and the largest meeting and conference facilities in the country.
The hotel’s 230 guestrooms and suites feature contemporary furnishings, flat-screen televisions, free high-speed internet access and views of the city. Guests staying on the hotel’s Executive Level enjoy a private lounge and complimentary happy hour.
Wyndham San José Herradura Hotel & Conference Center offers free wireless high-speed internet access throughout meeting and public spaces, complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport and local businesses, a 24-hour business center and a fitness center with a sauna and five Jacuzzi whirlpool spas.
Additional offerings include a full-service spa, salon, gift shop, a daily complimentary breakfast buffet and three on-site restaurants, including the country’s first Hard Rock Café which is scheduled to open in early 2013. Guests may also enjoy the hotel’s three pools, Fiesta Casino and privileges at nearby Cariari Country Club and Golf Resort.
For meetings, events and conferences, the hotel offers more than 28,000 sq. ft. of space that includes a 12,800-sq.-ft. ballroom that can accommodate up to 1,500 persons.
