SAVANNAH, GA—Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group opened the Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Savannah Gateway, which is owned by Suri Investments, LP.
“The brand has established a strong footprint in Georgia with 43 Country Inns & Suites locations,” said Scott Meyer, SVP/midscale brands, Americas for Carlson Rezidor. “The continued growth in this region is another step forward in our plan to expand the brand primarily in the United States, Canada, India and Mexico.”
The 70-room hotel features king and double-queen suites with sofa beds, a business center, an indoor heated pool, whirlpool and fitness center. All guestrooms feature flat-screen televisions, complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access, refrigerator and microwave.
Giselle Brown is serving as general manager for the hotel.
