ROSEMONT, IL—First Hospitality Group, Inc., based here, rewarded the first three guests at the new Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Downtown Hotel with exclusive gift packages. This included a gift basket full of local Wisconsin food items; a suite upgrade; and a certificate for Hilton HHonors points—90,000 for the first guest, 60,000 for the second and 30,000 for the third. In addition, the first guest received a one-of-a-kind lifetime VIP guest card, which entitles the winner to a free night’s stay every year on the anniversary of the hotel’s opening.
Formerly The Loyalty Building, the 127-room hotel features 24-hour fitness and business centers, complimentary high-speed Internet and 4,500 sq. ft. of meeting and event space. It also offers an all-day restaurant, The Garden Grille and Bar, and a 24-hour Pavilion Pantry convenience mart.
The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The redevelopment did not affect the original granite limestone facades, and the 19th-century commercial interiors remain intact.
