WILLEMSTAD, CURAÇAO—Hilton Curaçao Resort, located here, has completed the renovation of its executive floor, introducing 34 new executive guestrooms, three suites and an executive lounge. According to the company, it is the only executive floor on the island.
DSI Hospitality, a Miami-based design firm, drew inspiration from the island as well as the building’s original style, a blend of island elements and contemporary modernist architecture. All guestrooms and suites on the executive floor offer a tropical yet residential feel, as well as new bedding and furniture. They also feature the Hilton Serenity Collection of amenities, including high-definition LCD TVs, alarm clock with MP3 player connection, high-speed internet access, and Peter Thomas Roth bathroom products.
The new furniture is neutral wood-toned, while the bathrooms offer stone vanity, porcelain tile, a glass shower and upgraded fixtures. New closets include an under counter refrigerator.
The new executive guest lounge offers daily continental breakfast, light snacks and beverages and ocean views.
