TORONTO—Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, based here, is partnering with Hunan Taskin Investment Co. Ltd to open a new property in 2016 in Changsha, the capital of Hunan Province.
The property will include a luxury hotel with 350 guestrooms and suites and an adjacent 40,000-sq.-meter conference center. Fairmont Changsha will also accommodate several lounges and restaurants, fitness and pool facilities and Willow Stream, the company’s spa brand.
This is Fairmont’s ninth hotel in the Asia-Pacific region.
